About this course
This course is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to respond to first aid emergencies involving infants and children in accordance with the first aid guidelines established by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other national peak clinical bodies in Australia.
This unit specifically aims at workers in an education and care setting who may need to respond to emergencies such as asthma or anaphylaxis. This includes early childhood workers and educators working with school-age children in care and vacation programs outside school hours.
